...so you are interested in learning a bit more ABOUT ME....

Well, I am lucky enough to be making a living doing creative things every day!
I have been self employed for 17 years now. In 1990 I started my own Art Rubber Stamp Company. The Creative Mode
I guess you could say I am the artist, accountant, marketer, production manager, grounds keeper...you name it, it is my job!
...you guessed it, I AM the sole employee. So much for blaming that bad packaging job on "the shipping department" !! LOL
I have my own line of over 1200 images. I also do a ton of custom stamps!! If you need one, just holler!

In 2000, I started making my own lampwork beads and hand crafted jewelry. Unfortunately, I am unable to devote as much time as I would like making beads. I do, however, find every excuse I can to go down into my glass lab and melt glass!

Also in 2000, I tried my hand at show promotion. I started the One Of A Kind Rubber Stamp and Scrapbook Experience in Madison, WI.
This is a trade show devoted to rubber stampers and scrapbookers! Since 2000, I have been putting on a stamp and scrapbook show each year - it is always the weekend before Thanksgiving.

After having so much fun promoting the Stamp and Scrapbook Show, I knew I had to bring a Bead Show to Madison!
In 2004, I started the Art Glass and Bead Show. What fun!

Not that those 3 businesses were enough, I just recently purchased Nicholson's Peerless Watercolors! If you want to see a nostalgic company, check this one out!
Peerless Color has been around since 1885! NOTHING has changed since the original artist developed the paints. The technique, recipes and yes, even some of the ingredients have not changed since its origin. I mean literally, I am using ingredients that were packaged in 1902!!
If you want a watercolor that is pure, brilliant, concentrated and easy to use, look no further!

After growing so fast in the last 10 years, I needed a larger facility. I was bursting at the seams of my "Little House". (my first studio). It was lovingly named the Little House because it was almost 680 square fee! In March of 2006, I was lucky enough to find a two story brick school house! What a great studio! Now, I have plenty of space to house all of my creative endeavors!

Thanks for learning a bit more about me!
